The Navigators group research culture has long been propagated in the group in the "oral tradition" mode. One day, we thought it would be time to write it down and make it public, not only because there are new people coming almost every month, but also in the interest of others who may wish to benefit (we do not consider this as a trade secret!). So, several of us, in a sample of younger and more mature senior researchers, took the task in hands. Enjoy!
